We live in a world where buying water in plastic bottles seems natural, but this habit generates billions of unnecessary bottles every year. They do not disappear on their own, but turn into rubbish on the streets, in rivers and oceans, poisoning ecosystems for hundreds of years. The problem, which we have become accustomed to ignoring, has long been one of the main environmental threats of the 21st century.

 

We offer a different path. Instead of single-use plastic, we offer biodegradable PLA bottles made from renewable raw materials and reusable aluminium AQUACUPs. Instead of ‘buy and throw away,’ we offer a model where one bottle can be used again and again. Instead of indifferent consumption, we offer a simple opportunity to make the right choice without unnecessary effort.

 

Each AquaPoint machine saves thousands of plastic packages per year. On a city scale, that's tens of millions. On a European scale, that's billions of bottles that will never end up in a landfill or the ocean. This is not theory, but simple math: the more machines are installed, the less waste is created.

 

For us, sustainability is also about technology. IoT solutions and analytics record how much water has been distributed and how much plastic has been replaced. The app turns dry figures into understandable statistics for each person: ‘You've already saved 150 bottles — that's a whole bag of rubbish that no longer exists.’ This is how a culture is formed where sustainability becomes a habit rather than an exception.
